No Winter Blues in the Kinross-shire Property Market

No Winter Blues in the Kinross-shire Property Market

With an increase of 7% on property sales in 2024 and a 1.2% rise in the average house price in December, according to the latest HPI Data Report from Walker Fraser Steele, 2025 is most definitely looking to be another bumper year for sellers and buyers across Kinross-shire.

To date, this has been one of Anderson’s busiest starts to the year with a significant increase in both new properties marketed and in subsequent sales. With a fantastic mix of different properties across all price levels, there is now a far greater choice for all types of buyer, from first time buyers, to those looking for a bigger property or land.

Closing dates’ have also resurfaced, with demand in particular for 3+ bedroom properties under the £300,000 price mark. Whilst property prices have not increased significantly, certainly not to the degree they did post Covid in 2021, the majority are selling for over their Home Report valuations. However, the message is clear, those marketing their property, prior to looking for a new home and those in a better position with a secure chain in place, are still more favourable to sellers.

2025 certainly seems to be a good year for both buyers and sellers alike, so far.
