Summer of Stability

The Kinross-shire property market has continued to show resilience in 2025, with a steady activity of sales, even with the increase in supply and a slight ease in price growth.
According to recent ESPC statistics, the average selling price of a property across Scotland is now £283,335, which is an increase of 3.6% higher than the same period last year. Whilst this national increase is very indicative of a promising market, properties are certainly selling much closer to their home report valuations. This is mostly due to an increased supply, with a much more competitive market than 2024.
The recent interest rate cut in May to 4.25% has particularly helped First Time Buyers in the region, with properties in Kinross-shire offering value for money and the lure of a semi rural lifestyle, which is very appealing to professionals looking to escape the major cities within a commutable distance. The increase in this part of the market in turn boosts the pool of buyers in the area, increasing sales across all of the price ranges.
With the predication of further growth of 1.1%* in the Scottish economy, this most definitely signals a continued period of stability for the Kinross-shire property market.
